What do you feel is most valuable about working with the Agency Wealth Partners team?
Without a doubt, it’s the level of expertise we bring to the table. On the financial planning side, we’ve invested a lot of time to be exceptionally good planners. On the investment side, our team has a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which really makes us stand out. This is one of the most respected and recognized investment management designation in the world, and a very renowned certification in finance.
Do you have a personal or professional motto?
My motto is: ‘Listen and understand a client’s needs and work hard to help them achieve their goals.’
What are the top things someone should consider before working with a wealth advisor?
You should consider: Is the advisor working in a fiduciary capacity for you, and placing your best interests first? Do they act with honesty and integrity? And do they have the skills and expertise needed to plan and manage your financial life?
Do you have a favorite newspaper, magazine, columnist or blog that you follow?
I read the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s for financial and investment news. I also follow David Kelly, the Chief Global Strategist and Head of the Global Market Insights Strategy Team for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. I particularly like his weekly market recap.
What is the last book you read for personal enjoyment?
I love to read for pleasure, and I’m currently reading book three of the A Game of Thrones series, ‘A Storm of Swords.’ My favorite character is Tyrion Lannister (aka the Imp).
What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
I would recommend to everyone to live abroad. It’s a wonderful experience. I lived for two years in Freiburg, Germany, close to the Black Forest region. I also spent six months in Berlin and hitchhiked throughout the German countryside. So many adventures!
